Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for enterprise risk mitigation
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into product roadmaps
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global forums
- Establish KPIs for tracking emerging trend adoption and market evolution
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight capability
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend analysis
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial outcomes
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methodology, and systems thinking
- Published author in futurism/strategy publications or patents
- Proficiency with foresight tools (e.g., Horizon Scanning Platform, Trend Monitor)
- Exceptional communication skills for C-suite stakeholder engagement
