Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain horizon-scanning frameworks to identify emerging technologies, market shifts, and societal disruptions
- Create multi-generational strategic roadmaps for product development and business transformation
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing concepts
- Present foresight findings to executive leadership and translate strategic vision into operational plans
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, research labs, and industry think tanks
- Mentor innovation teams in futures-thinking methodologies and speculative design
- Author thought leadership publications on long-term technology trends and strategic implications
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy, innovation, or futures research with 5+ in leadership roles
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial innovations
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systems thinking
- Strong background in emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, Web3)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, or related field
- Experience building and scaling innovation frameworks within enterprise environments
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-proofing initiatives
