Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year strategic foresight frameworks focused on 2026+ market evolutions
- Lead cross-functional teams in translating emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech) into commercial blueprints
- Establish innovation pipelines through horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Partner with R&D to prototype breakthrough solutions addressing 2026+ societal and business challenges
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with data-driven impact assessments
- Curate thought leadership platforms (whitepapers, conferences, podcasts) positioning Horizon Labs as a future authority
Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field with 8+ years applied experience
- Proven track record of developing and implementing 5+ year strategic roadmaps in tech or consulting
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (generative AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Experience leading global innovation initiatives with measurable ROI impact
- Strong presentation skills for executive audiences and external thought leadership
- Portfolio demonstrating foresight methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis, etc.)
