Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain horizon-scanning frameworks to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Produce strategic foresight reports and scenario-planning models for executive decision-making
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and think tanks for trend intelligence
- Design and implement organizational innovation processes to embed foresight into DNA
- Present future scenarios to boards and investors through compelling visual narratives
- Mentor innovation teams in applying foresight methodologies to product development
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- Minimum 8 years experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial outcomes
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Strong understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive stakeholders and technical teams
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from WFS or APF) preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating successful innovation initiatives driven by future insights
