Responsibilities
- Conduct multi-year foresight research to identify disruptive trends, technologies, and societal shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop and communicate strategic scenarios, roadmaps, and innovation frameworks for executive decision-making
- Lead cross-functional workshops to cultivate future literacy and embed foresight into product development cycles
- Monitor global signals across geopolitics, climate tech, AI ethics, and biotech to anticipate paradigm shifts
- Produce high-impact foresight reports and visualizations that translate complex futures into actionable insights
- Build and steward a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers to maintain competitive edge
- Integrate sustainability and ethical foresight principles into all strategic recommendations
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-oriented leadership roles
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-back strategies for Fortune 500 organizations
- Expertise in foresight methodologies (e.g., horizon scanning, scenario planning, Delphi techniques)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with ability to translate complex futures into compelling narratives
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Published thought leadership in future-focused journals or platforms
- Experience with futures-oriented data visualization and strategic modeling tools
