In this pivotal position, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives to develop forward-looking roadmaps, identify disruptive opportunities, and build ecosystems that leverage AI, biotechnology, and quantum computing. You'll translate complex futures into actionable strategies while fostering a culture of innovation that positions us at the vanguard of technological evolution.
Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends, technological disruptions, and societal shifts to forecast 2026+ market landscapes
- Design and implement innovation frameworks that integrate emerging technologies into core business strategies
- Lead cross-functional workshops to develop scenario plans for future business models and competitive landscapes
- Build and maintain an external ecosystem of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Translate foresight insights into executive-ready visualizations and strategic recommendations
- Oversee the development of a 'Future Radar' system to monitor emerging threats and opportunities
- Drive organizational transformation through innovation culture initiatives and future-proofing strategies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futurism, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or future-focused roles
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and technology forecasting methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing, nanotech)
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to communicate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Experience leading organizational transformation through innovation frameworks
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (articles, books, white papers)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-strategy implementations
