Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives identifying disruptive trends across AI, biotech, and sustainable tech by 2026
- Develop strategic roadmaps for clients anticipating market shifts and regulatory changes
- Facilitate cross-functional innovation workshops with C-suite executives and R&D teams
- Produce forward-looking whitepapers and scenario-planning frameworks for industry stakeholders
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, technologists, and domain experts
- Translate complex future scenarios into actionable business strategies with measurable KPIs
- Represent the company at global innovation forums and future-focused conferences
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused technology roles
- Proven track record of developing scenario-planning frameworks for 5-10 year horizons
- Expertise in emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional communication skills distilling complex futures for executive audiences
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field preferred
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (e.g., Harvard Business Review, MIT Tech Review)
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis, weak signal detection)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-strategy implementation with measurable outcomes
