Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year strategic foresight frameworks for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Lead scenario planning workshops to identify disruptive market shifts and competitive threats
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate foresight into corporate strategy and R&D pipelines
- Build and maintain proprietary trend intelligence databases using AI-powered analytics
- Present strategic recommendations to executive boards through compelling data visualizations
- Mentor innovation teams on exponential thinking methodologies and future-proofing techniques
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators to scout breakthrough innovations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology foresight roles
- Proven track record of developing future-ready strategies for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology forecasting methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills with experience presenting to executive audiences
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, biotech) and their societal impacts
- Published thought leadership in innovation or futures studies journals/conferences
