Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and develop scenario-based strategic roadmaps through 2030
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions with engineering and design teams
- Deliver executive briefings and trend reports to board members and investors on emerging disruptors
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and think tanks to pioneer next-gen research initiatives
- Quantify market opportunities and risks for emerging technologies using predictive modeling frameworks
- Champion a culture of strategic foresight across 15+ business units through training and workshops
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership within tech/finance sectors
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (blockchain, AGI, synthetic biology) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presentation experience to C-suite and boards
- Published thought leadership in futurism, innovation strategy, or technology forecasting
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFAP from Association of Professional Futurists)
