Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning across 15+ emerging tech domains (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Develop scenario-based strategic roadmaps for 2026-2030 market landscapes
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and policy teams
- Author white papers on disruptive technology impacts for executive decision-making
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, VCs, and academic pioneers
- Design and facilitate foresight workshops for 500+ enterprise stakeholders
- Monitor geopolitical shifts and regulatory changes affecting innovation ecosystems
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Portfolio demonstrating published trend analysis or scenario planning projects
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech verticals (quantum, AI, neurotech)
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis, causal layered analysis)
- Experience advising Fortune 500 executives on long-term technology strategy
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Innovation Management (e.g., from University of Houston)
