Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 technology foresight framework using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into actionable R&D priorities
- Design innovation roadmaps for quantum computing, AGI safety protocols, and climate adaptation technologies
- Partner with C-suite executives to embed futurist thinking into corporate strategy and product development
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global innovation summits
- Mentor junior strategists in futures methodology and emerging technology assessment
- Manage relationships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field with 8+ years of experience
- Proven track record in developing long-term technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI, and climate tech
- Strong background in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience at Davos, TED, or similar high-profile forums
- Published author in peer-reviewed futures or technology journals
- Proficiency in foresight tools like Cassandra, Delphi, or STEEP analysis
- Experience securing innovation grants exceeding $10M in public/private funding
