Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies, market shifts, and societal trends through 2030
- Develop and implement strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops with executives to translate foresight into actionable business strategies
- Conduct scenario planning for disruptive technologies (quantum computing, neuro interfaces, climate AI)
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Present strategic recommendations to the board with data-driven impact assessments
- Oversee the creation of annual Future State Reports for key industry verticals
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field; PhD preferred
- 7+ years in innovation strategy, futurism, or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 scale
- Proven track record of implementing foresight frameworks (e.g., Delphi Method, STEEP analysis)
- Expertise in emerging technologies: AI ethics, biotech convergence, quantum applications
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., APF, CFIP) or equivalent
