Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends and global megatrends to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026-2030
- Develop and maintain Horizon's strategic foresight framework, including scenario planning and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-focused solutions
- Present compelling future-state narratives to executive stakeholders and investors
- Partner with product teams to integrate foresight insights into roadmaps
- Author thought leadership content on future tech and societal impacts
- Manage external partnerships with academic institutions and future-focused labs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and technology forecasting
- Deep understanding of AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, and climate tech trajectories
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills for complex future concepts
- Experience with foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, horizon scanning, backcasting)
- Portfolio demonstrating future-focused projects or published foresight work
