Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, biotech, climate resilience) to identify disruptive opportunities and threats
- Develop 5-year innovation roadmaps aligned with company ESG goals and market projections
- Lead cross-functional workshops to incubate prototype concepts from ideation to MVP
- Present strategic foresight reports to C-suite and board stakeholders with actionable recommendations
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs to future-proof our tech ecosystem
- Mentor innovation teams in speculative design and scenario planning methodologies
- Quantify future ROI through predictive modeling and market simulation analysis
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing future-focused concepts (portfolio required)
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methodology, and trend impact analysis
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Certification in innovation management (e.g., PDMA, CMI) or futures research
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
