Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (quantum computing, synthetic biology, neurotech) to identify disruptive opportunities through 2030
- Develop and present strategic foresight reports to C-suite executives and board members
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for Fortune 500 clients navigating industry transformation
- Design and implement innovation roadmaps integrating exponential technologies
- Maintain proprietary database of emerging technologies and their market implications
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global conferences
- Mentor junior futurists using Horizon Labs' proprietary FutureSight methodology
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two exponential technologies (quantum, AI, nanotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-proof business strategies
- Exceptional data visualization skills using tools like Tableau or D3.js
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies and trend analysis frameworks
