Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026+ technology roadmaps using scenario planning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops identifying disruption vectors in AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology
- Produce quarterly strategic briefings for C-suite on emerging market opportunities and risks
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions
- Establish KPIs for innovation maturity and track progress against future-state benchmarks
- Represent the company at global futurism conferences and industry symposiums
- Mentor junior strategists in foresight methodologies and market intelligence gathering
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, Web3, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFS, Foresight Practitioner)
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling skills using tools like Tableau/Power BI
- Experience with horizon scanning techniques and Delphi methodology
- Portfolio demonstrating published future scenario work or strategic frameworks
