Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive forces impacting 2026+ markets
- Develop AI-powered scenario-planning models for multi-industry futures
- Architect innovation roadmaps aligned with emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Collaborate with R&D teams to translate foresight into product development pipelines
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and Fortune 500 partners
- Establish foresight frameworks to de-risk long-term investments
- Pioneer cross-disciplinary research initiatives with MIT, Stanford, and ETH Zurich
Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or Innovation Management
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech research
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum)
- Exceptional data storytelling and executive communication skills
- Published work in futures research or peer-reviewed journals
- Experience advising C-suite on transformational strategy
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from APF or WFS)
