Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, climate tech, quantum computing) to forecast market disruptions through 2030
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks for executive decision-making boards
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed future-readiness into product roadmaps
- Author quarterly horizon scanning reports with actionable recommendations
- Partner with R&D to prototype next-generation business models
- Represent the company at global innovation forums (e.g., Davos, Techonomy)
- Mentor junior futurists in scenario planning and trend synthesis methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or equivalent field with 5+ years applied experience
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial strategy (portfolio examples required)
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in foresight publications (e.g., Futures, World Futures Review)
- Proficiency in foresight tools: horizon scanning, Delphi methods, system dynamics modeling
- Experience advising Fortune 500 boards on long-term risk/opportunity scenarios
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-shaping initiatives
