Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify transformative technologies for 2026-2030
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market disruption
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research in emerging domains (quantum computing, neurotech, etc.)
- Present findings and recommendations to executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Build cross-functional innovation pipelines with engineering, product, and design teams
- Manage technology incubation programs for breakthrough concepts
- Represent company at industry forums and thought leadership conferences
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record in emerging technology assessment and adoption
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, biotech, quantum computing, or decentralized systems
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Certification in emerging technologies (e.g., Google AI, AWS ML, or equivalent)
- Experience developing multi-year technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
