Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends and market disruptors through 2026+ horizon scanning
- Develop strategic roadmaps for technology adoption and innovation investment
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future technology priorities
- Conduct scenario planning and risk assessment for technological shifts
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and external partners
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions and research labs
- Drive innovation initiatives from concept to prototype validation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, R&D, or emerging technology roles
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains (AI/ML, Quantum, Biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial strategy
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making ability
- Exceptional communication and executive presentation skills
- Experience leading cross-functional innovation initiatives
- Advanced degree in relevant field or equivalent demonstrable expertise
- Published thought leadership in technology or strategy publications
