Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology strategy roadmap with measurable milestones
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, sustainable energy)
- Conduct competitive analysis and market positioning for futuristic tech solutions
- Drive innovation workshops and hackathons to generate breakthrough concepts
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and Board of Directors
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused allocation
- Build and lead a cross-disciplinary Future Tech Lab team
- Establish strategic partnerships with leading research institutions
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or corporate innovation
- Master's degree in Technology Management, Engineering, or Business
- Proven track record in AI, quantum computing, or sustainable tech implementation
- Experience presenting to executive stakeholders and boards
- Deep understanding of tech adoption curves and market disruption patterns
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Technology Innovation Management
- Portfolio demonstrating successful tech transformation projects
- Expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
