Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 Technology Foresight Framework through trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align executive vision with R&D priorities for 2026 product launches
- Produce quarterly strategic briefings on disruptive technologies (quantum computing, neuro-interfaces, synthetic biology)
- Establish partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and other future-focused institutions
- Design and implement innovation incubation programs for emerging 2026 market opportunities
- Present strategic recommendations to Board of Directors with quantified impact projections
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futures research with Fortune 500 exposure
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field required
- Proven track record in translating emerging tech trends into commercial roadmaps
- Expertise in scenario planning methodologies and systems thinking frameworks
- Published thought leadership on technological disruption (e.g., HBR, MIT Tech Review)
- Certification in Foresight Methodology (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists)
- Experience with AI/ML tools for trend analysis and predictive modeling
