Responsibilities
- Accurately input, update, and maintain customer and employee information into our database management systems.
- Verify and rectify errors in data entry to ensure high levels of accuracy.
- Sort, organize, and file physical and digital documents on a daily basis.
- Prepare and format documents for printing, scanning, and distribution.
- Perform routine backups of data to ensure security and accessibility.
- Assist in inventory control by logging incoming shipments and tracking stock levels.
- Communicate effectively with team members to resolve data discrepancies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Previous experience as a Data Entry Clerk or in a general administrative role is preferred.
- Minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute with a high degree of accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Word.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Basic knowledge of database software is a plus.
