Responsibilities
- Architect AI roadmaps for 2026 technological convergence (quantum + AI + IoT)
- Lead research on next-gen neural networks with 1000x efficiency improvements
- Develop predictive models for climate change adaptation and resource optimization
- Collaborate with policy teams on AI governance frameworks for 2026 deployment
- Present strategic visions to C-suite executives and government stakeholders
- Mentor PhD researchers in emerging AI paradigms (explainable AI, federated learning)
- Secure $5M+ in research grants from NSF, DARPA, and industry consortiums
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science/AI with 8+ years of research leadership
- Published breakthrough work in NeurIPS/ICML/AAAI conferences (2020-2023)
- Expertise in quantum machine learning and neuromorphic computing
- Proven track record of scaling AI systems to 100M+ user deployments
- Deep understanding of ethical AI frameworks and bias mitigation
- Experience with federated learning and edge-AI architectures
- Ability to translate complex concepts into actionable business strategies
- Security clearance preferred (or ability to obtain)
