Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify breakthrough technologies with 2026 market potential
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and future market trends
- Analyze emerging tech disruptions (AI, quantum, biotech) and recommend adoption pathways
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Anticipate ethical implications and regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation management
- Proven track record of forecasting tech trends and translating insights into strategy
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with experience in scenario planning and market analysis
- Strong communication skills for presenting complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management preferred
