Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for disruptive technologies with 3-5 year predictive modeling
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps for quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, and synthetic biology
- Facilitate innovation sprints with C-suite executives and academic research partners
- Author white papers on technological singularity implications and ethical frameworks
- Manage $2M+ annual R&D portfolio for experimental tech ventures
- Represent company at Davos, SXSW, and World Economic Forum tech summits
- Mentor a team of 5 PhD-level futurists and data scientists
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or related field with 10+ years tech foresight experience
- Published author in Nature or Science on emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in quantum computing, AGI development, or biotech convergence
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic technologies
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python preferred)
- Experience advising Fortune 500 CTOs on tech strategy
- Strong network with MIT Media Lab, DeepMind, or similar institutions
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
