Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 innovation roadmaps across AI, biotech, and renewable energy sectors
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and futurists in prototyping next-gen solutions
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and Fortune 500 R&D divisions
- Conduct horizon scanning and scenario planning for emerging technological disruptions
- Present strategic frameworks to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Drive ethical innovation frameworks ensuring responsible deployment of breakthrough technologies
- Manage $15M+ innovation budgets and resource allocation for high-impact initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or future-focused R&D
- Proven track record leading large-scale transformational initiatives ($10M+ budgets)
- Expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Technology Management, or related field
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Experience with regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies (FDA, FCC, EPA)
- Proficiency in strategic foresight tools (Horizon scanning, Delphi method, Scenario planning)
- Exceptional communication skills for influencing executive and scientific audiences
