Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 technology roadmaps using horizon-scanning methodologies and predictive modeling
- Lead 'Future Labs' workshops with C-suite executives to stress-test long-term scenarios
- Produce quarterly 'State of 2026' intelligence reports for board-level decision making
- Manage $5M annual innovation budget for prototyping emerging technologies
- Establish partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Future Today Institute, and EU Horizon 2030
- Mentor 15-person 'Tomorrow Think Tank' of PhD researchers and startup founders
- Present at Davos, CES, and World Economic Forum summits on 2026 disruption vectors
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Published thought leadership on exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or equivalent experience
- Portfolio of implemented 5+ year strategic plans with measurable impact
- Deep expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methods, and trend analysis
- Proficiency in foresight platforms (e.g., Foresight Platform, Trendalyzer)
- Experience scaling teams from concept to billion-dollar market entry
