We seek a visionary 2026 Strategic Futurist to map emerging trends, design disruptive innovation frameworks, and position our organization at the forefront of 2026's digital and societal paradigms.
This senior role requires cross-industry foresight, systems thinking, and the ability to translate future scenarios into actionable strategies. You'll collaborate with C-suite executives, R&D labs, and global innovation partners to build our 2026 roadmap.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive trend analysis for 2026 technology, regulatory, and consumer behavior shifts
- Design strategic innovation frameworks for emerging domains (quantum computing, neurotech, climate resilience)
- Lead scenario planning workshops for executive leadership on 2026 market disruptions
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, technologists, and academic researchers
- Translate future insights into product roadmaps and investment priorities
- Present strategic recommendations to board members and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology roles
- Proven track record of developing and implementing 5+ year strategic roadmaps
- Expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum applications, climate tech, or neurotech
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership on 2020s technological disruption
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, Delphi Method)
- Experience advising Fortune 500 executives on future strategy
