Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 innovation roadmap, aligning with long-term business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing breakthrough technologies with 3-5 year commercialization horizons
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive opportunities
- Secure and manage strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry leaders
- Present innovation strategies to executive stakeholders and board members
- Drive patent development and intellectual property protection for emerging technologies
- Mentor senior engineers and researchers on future-focused methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of launching technologies with 3+ year market impact
- Deep expertise in at least two future-facing domains: AI, quantum computing, or sustainable tech
- Exceptional analytical skills with experience in scenario planning and trend forecasting
- Executive-level presentation skills and stakeholder management
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Innovation
- Published thought leadership in innovation journals or industry white papers
- Certification in Futures Studies or Strategic Foresight preferred
