Responsibilities
- Anticipate and analyze emerging technology trends (quantum computing, AI ethics, neurotech, etc.) to inform 5-10 year strategic roadmaps
- Architect cross-functional innovation frameworks integrating blockchain, AR/VR, and sustainable tech
- Lead incubation of moonshot projects with potential to redefine industry standards by 2026
- Develop predictive models for technology adoption and disruption across global markets
- Partner with product teams to ensure strategic alignment with emerging technological capabilities
- Present visionary concepts to executive stakeholders and investment committees
- Mentor a team of futurist researchers and technology scouts
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with demonstrated impact on future-oriented initiatives
- Expertise in emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, spatial computing) and their commercial applications
- Proven track record of developing and executing multi-generational technology roadmaps
- Advanced degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology innovation (patents, books, keynotes)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through technological transformation
