Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives to identify and analyze emerging trends, technologies, and societal shifts relevant to 2026
- Develop comprehensive future scenarios and roadmaps for business innovation and market positioning
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across global technology, economic, and geopolitical landscapes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate future insights into product development and strategic planning
- Present findings and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders
- Build and maintain a network of futurists, industry experts, and academic partners
- Design and implement foresight methodologies including scenario planning and backcasting
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, Economics, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of experience in strategic planning, futurism, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex information
- Strong communication skills with ability to articulate future scenarios compellingly
- Experience working with AI, biotechnology, climate tech, or quantum computing trends
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from APF or MFRA) highly desirable
