Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, socio-economic shifts, and global megatrends to identify disruptive opportunities and risks through 2030
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026+ strategic foresight framework, translating complex data into actionable business strategies
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align leadership teams on future scenarios and innovation priorities
- Produce high-impact thought leadership content (reports, presentations, whitepapers) for executive stakeholders and industry audiences
- Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with academic institutions, research labs, and innovation hubs
- Monitor and evaluate competitive landscapes, regulatory changes, and technological disruptions affecting long-term business viability
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist analysis with Fortune 500 or high-growth tech companies
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills with ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or successful strategic initiatives implemented
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists) strongly preferred
