Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify and analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) with 5-10 year impact potential
- Develop and publish annual '2026 Technology Impact Reports' for C-suite stakeholders and industry partners
- Design strategic roadmaps integrating breakthrough innovations into existing product ecosystems
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops with R&D, product, and engineering teams to align on future vision
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and regulatory frameworks affecting long-term innovation strategies
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs to co-develop future-focused solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board of directors
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, Computer Science, or related field (Master's or PhD preferred)
- Minimum 7 years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology analysis
- Proven track record of developing technology roadmaps with 5+ year horizons
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, Web3, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional data storytelling and visualization skills using tools like Tableau or Power BI
- Experience presenting complex concepts to C-level executives and technical/non-technical audiences
- Certification in Foresight Methodologies (e.g., CFM) or Innovation Management preferred
