Responsibilities
- Forecast industry and technological disruptions through advanced trend analysis and predictive modeling
- Develop comprehensive 2026+ strategic roadmaps integrating AI, biotech, and quantum computing
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-state vision and implementation
- Conduct competitive intelligence scans to identify disruptive threats and opportunities
- Present executive-ready insights through data visualizations and scenario planning frameworks
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-facing solutions with 3-5 year horizons
- Author thought leadership publications establishing industry benchmarks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field with 7+ years experience
- Proven track record in emerging technology forecasting and strategic planning
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with advanced visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., AC/FS preferred)
- Experience presenting to C-suite boards and influencing high-stakes decisions
- Portfolio demonstrating completed 3-5 year foresight projects
