Responsibilities

- Lead scenario-planning initiatives to identify disruptive opportunities and mitigate future risks
- Champion cross-functional agile sprints to prototype and validate next-gen solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Present visionary frameworks to stakeholders including board members and venture capital partners
- Monitor emerging global trends and regulatory shifts affecting 2026 technology landscapes
- Mentor a high-performing team of futurists and data scientists
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic innovation, futures research, or technology foresight
- Proven track record of developing multi-year enterprise innovation roadmaps
- Expertise in emerging technologies: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, Web3
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Experience leading teams of 10+ professionals in R&D environments
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, horizon scanning, causal layered analysis)
- Clearance for working with sensitive government innovation projects
