Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year strategic foresight initiatives for 2026+ market landscape
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, neurotech, climate AI) and their business implications
- Lead cross-functional scenario planning workshops with executive stakeholders
- Author disruptive trend reports and predictive models for Fortune 500 clients
- Architect innovation roadmaps integrating geopolitical, technological, and societal shifts
- Mentor junior futurists and spearhead internal foresight training programs
- Present findings at industry conferences and publish thought leadership pieces
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years experience in strategic planning, consulting, or futurist roles
- Expertise in horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Proven ability to translate complex future scenarios into actionable business strategies
- Exceptional communication skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic planning publications
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., AC/FS, CFS) strongly preferred
