Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, climate tech, biotech, etc.) to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026+
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for market evolution and competitive positioning
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype future products and services
- Present foresight insights to executives and boards to influence organizational direction
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs to stay ahead of emerging technologies
- Author thought leadership publications and whitepapers on future-proofing businesses
- Monitor geopolitical shifts and regulatory changes impacting long-term strategy
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Strategic Planning, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategy consulting, innovation, or corporate foresight roles
- Proven track record of translating future trends into business impact
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Certification in Foresight or Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFM) strongly preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or strategic frameworks
