Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to forecast industry shifts through 2030
- Develop scenario-planning models for market disruptions and competitive threats
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-state opportunities
- Author strategic white papers and future-state roadmaps for executive review
- Identify and evaluate high-potential investment targets and partnership opportunities
- Present foresight insights at industry conferences and board meetings
- Maintain a proprietary database of emerging technologies and their commercialization potential
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Technology Management, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record of translating future trends into business strategy
- Expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies and their societal impact
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or strategic frameworks
- Certification in Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
