Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and climate tech domains
- Develop predictive models to identify disruptive opportunities and systemic risks through 2030
- Architect strategic roadmaps integrating emerging technologies into core business operations
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to embed foresight methodologies across departments
- Author executive briefings and innovation frameworks for board-level decision-making
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-focused solutions with 18-36 month market viability
- Monitor geopolitical and socioeconomic shifts impacting technology adoption curves
- Represent company at global futurism forums and thought leadership platforms
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futurism, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 7+ years experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology strategy
- Proven track record of translating foresight into actionable business strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi techniques, and systemic trend analysis
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies and their socioeconomic implications
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation publications
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (preferred) or equivalent methodology training
