Responsibilities
- Analyze horizon-scanning data to forecast disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026
- Develop scenario-planning models for climate resilience, AI governance, and human augmentation
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-state strategies
- Produce trend reports and white papers on quantum computing, neuro-interfaces, and circular economies
- Advise on ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and digital identity protocols
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and policy summits
- Mentor junior futurists in predictive analytics and systems thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech trend analysis
- Portfolio demonstrating published forecasts with 85%+ accuracy rate
- Expertise in scenario modeling tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, Delphi Method)
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (quantum, biotech, AGI trajectories)
- Experience advising Fortune 500 boards on mid-term strategic pivots
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., APF Certified Professional Futurist)
- Fluency in at least one strategic forecasting language (Python/R preferred)
