Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum, AGI, biotech) to create actionable 2026+ innovation roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional initiatives developing ethical frameworks for next-generation AI systems
- Design and implement startup scouting programs identifying disruptive pre-2026 technologies
- Present strategic visions to C-suite executives and external stakeholders including the World Economic Forum
- Develop patent portfolios and IP strategies covering breakthrough technologies
- Mentor technical teams in futurist methodologies and long-term system thinking
- Coordinate with government bodies on tech policy development for 2026 digital infrastructure
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years experience in technology strategy or innovation management at Fortune 500 or unicorn startup
- Published thought leadership on emerging tech trends (IEEE, Nature, or equivalent)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AGI safety, neurotech, or climate tech
- Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into business strategy
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., from University of Houston or similar)
- Experience securing $1M+ R&D budgets for experimental technology projects
