Responsibilities
- Map emerging tech trajectories (quantum, bio-convergence, neural interfaces) through 2026 horizon scanning
- Design and lead cross-functional innovation sprints for future-state prototypes
- Develop strategic frameworks for ethical AI adoption and sustainable tech integration
- Present foresight insights to C-suite and industry consortiums
- Lead the 2026 Innovation Lab, mentoring next-generation futurists
- Partner with R&D to accelerate breakthrough technologies to market
- Author annual 'Future State' reports for stakeholders and policymakers
Qualifications
- 7+ years in innovation strategy, futures research, or emerging tech leadership
- Proven track record of launching future-oriented products/services
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI ethics, or climate tech
- Strong systems thinking with ability to model complex future scenarios
- Exceptional communication skills for translating foresight into actionable strategy
- Experience with scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- Portfolio of published future-state frameworks or innovation roadmaps
