Responsibilities
- Forecast disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026 through quantitative modeling and qualitative foresight
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for Fortune 500 clients navigating the 2026 digital economy
- Lead cross-functional workshops synthesizing inputs from 15+ emerging tech domains
- Author annual Horizon 2026 Report distributed to 200+ C-suite executives and government agencies
- Design and pilot innovation sprints validating 2026-ready prototypes with industry partners
- Establish KPIs for measuring long-term strategic outcomes against predicted futures
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent experience with 10+ years in foresight roles
- Published research on exponential technologies or paradigm shifts (peer-reviewed journals)
- Proven track record advising C-suite on strategic planning for 5+ year horizons
- Mastery of foresight methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning, Cross-Impact Matrices)
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Experience with scenario planning tools (STELLA, Kumu) and predictive analytics platforms
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ validated future forecasts with measurable business impact
